Allen Gilmore* (Clown 2, The 39 Steps; The Duke, The Two Gentleman of Verona) is thrilled to return to Santa Cruz Shakespeare for a fourth season. Previously he has been seen at SSC in Bach at Leipzig, All’s Well That Ends Well, The Three Musketeers, and Henry IV, Part I. At SCS he has appeared in The Merry Wives Of Windsor and As You Like It. Allen recently created roles in two world premieres: boxer Emile Griffith in Man In The Ring at Court Theater and John Workolo in Objects In The Mirror at Goodman Theater. During his career, he has enjoyed a wide variety of parts in theaters across the US and Canada including Othello, Tales Of Washington Irving, The Misanthrope, Cyrano De Bergerac, Titus Andronicus, Endgame, Waiting For Godot, The Matchmaker, The Servant Of Two Masters, Joe Turner’s Come And Gone, and A Christmas Carol. He dedicates his performances this season to his sister and brother, Ms. Cheryl Aytch and Mr. Craig Gilmore. David Graham Jones* (Angelo, Measure for Measure; Antonio, Eglamore, The Two Gentleman of Verona) is a recent transplant from the East Coast and is thrilled to be appearing with Santa Cruz Shakespeare. He was seen on Broadway in A Free Man of Color and Off-Broadway at the Mint Theater and New York Classical Theater. Regionally, he’s appeared at the Shakespeare Theater, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, St. Louis Rep, Geva, Hangar, Fulton, Folger, Pioneer, Virginia Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse, Kansas City Rep, Kansas City Actor’s Theatre, and Great River Shakespeare Festival.
