Notable credits include The Old Globe (The Odyssey) and San Diego Repertory Theatre (Tommy, Hairspray.) Carson has also trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow, appeared in Season 1 of Outsiders on WGN, and holds two second-place titles from the National Shakespeare Society’s’ High School Competition. Sarah Pidgeon (Fairy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Francisco, Hamlet; Orlando, Orlando) is so delighted to be an intern this summer with SCS. Last summer she worked with Michigan Shakespeare Festival and has just finished her sophomore year at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. She is excited to be working with her fellow interns and learning from the experienced, professional cast. Sarah is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy.  Mayadevi Ross (Fairy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Priest, Hamlet; Sasha, Orlando) recently graduated from NYU-Tisch, training in Musical Theatre and Experimental Theatre. Her interest in performing started with Kids On Broadway and Pacific Collegiate School, and has taken her to New York, the Edinburgh Fringe, and Varanasi, India. She recently finished writing, directing, and performing Desi-Aspora, a live Bollywood musical at NYU, and plans to debut her newest piece in Manhattan this September. Heartfelt thanks to inspirational teachers, family, and friends everywhere. Christian Strange (Tom Snout/Fairy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Barnardo, Hamlet; Marmaduke, Orlando) is excited to be making his Santa Cruz Shakespeare debut this summer. He is a rising junior Musical Theatre student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Some of his favorite theatre credits include South Pacific and The King and I at Town Theatre in South Carolina as well as Fences at the South Carolina Governor’s School. He would like to give thanks to his family and friends for supporting him throughout this artistic journey. Karoline Lila Xu (Fairy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Player Queen, Hamlet; Grimsditch, Orlando) has performed mostly in New York and Boston, including at La MaMa ETC, Judson Church, American Repertory Theater, OBERON, and at Port Park with Apollinaire Theater Company. Next February, she will be in Precious Little by Madeleine George at Central Square Theater. Ms. Xu trained for a year at Atlantic Acting School and is entering her senior year at Harvard College.
