Santa Cruz Shakespeare’s 5th Annual Trip to Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Join us as we travel to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Fall 2019! The trip is scheduled from Wednesday, October 2 though Sunday, October 6 2019.

Our custom tour is designed to bring you and fellow theatre enthusiasts together to enjoy the rich history and cultural tradition of another world-class Shakespeare festival in Ashland, Oregon.
The tour includes:

As You Like It, written by William Shakespeare and directed by Rosa Joshi.

La Comedia of Errors, written by William Shakespeare, translated by Luis Alfaro, and directed by OSF Artistic Director Bill Rauch.
(This is an optional performance).

All’s Well That Ends Well, written by William Shakespeare and directed by Tracy Young.

Mother Road, a World Premiere play written by Octavio Solis and is directed by OSF Artistic Director Bill Rauch.

Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare and is directed by Jose Luis Valenzuela.

Accommodation:

Double Occupancy Cost: $1,850.00 per person (Note: rooms only have one bed per room)

Single Occupancy Cost: $2,000.00 per person

Deposit to reserve your space: $500.00 (Note: deposit is non-refundable)

Morning: Depart for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Afternoon: Granzella’s Restaurant & Deli. Coffee break and rest stop en route.

Evening: Arrive in Ashland, Oregon. Check into Ashland Springs Hotel.

Between Two Knees is written by the 1491s and is directed by Eric Ting, who is the current Artistic Director at Cal Shakes in Berkeley, CA. Between Two Knees is premiering for the first time at Oregon
Shakespeare Festival in the Thomas Theatre. As You Like It is written by William Shakespeare and is directed by Rosa Joshi. As You Like It will be performed in the Angus Bowmer Theatre.

Dinner to be determined by guests individually.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2019
Day 2: Backstage Tour | Between Two Knees at 1:30PM | As You Like It at 8PM

Morning: Breakfast provided by Ashland Springs Hotel.

10AM Backstage Tour of OSF. Meet at the Thomas Theatre.
Backstage Tour is 105 minutes long.

Afternoon: Lunch to be determined by guests independently.

1:30PM Between Two Knees

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2019
Day 3: La Comedia of Errors at 5PM | All’s Well That Ends Well at 8PM

Morning: Breakfast provided by Ashland Springs Hotel.

Afternoon: Lunch to be determined by guests independently.

La Comedia of Errors is written by William Shakespeare, translated by Luis Alfaro as a Bilingual Play On! performance, and is directed by OSF Artistic Director Bill Rauch. La Comedia of Errors will be a shorter play and will be performed in the Thomas Theatre. This is an optional performance to attend. All’s Well That Ends Well is written by William Shakespeare and is directed by Tracy Young. All’s Well That Ends Well will be performed in the Allen Elizabethan Theatre.

Evening: 5PM La Comedia of Errors (optional add-on performance)

Dinner to be determined by guests independently.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2019
Day 4: Mother Road at 1:30PM | SCS Dinner Party at 5:30PM | Macbeth at 8PM

Evening: Arrival in Santa Cruz, California.
