DONATE TO SCS

Santa Cruz Shakespeare depends on your generosity and benevolence. Your gift makes not only the work you see onstage possible but also directly benefits our education programs and other community outreach efforts.

GENERAL DONATION
A gift to our general fund allows us the flexibility to direct your support where it’s needed most, helping sustain every part of the work that brings our theatre to life.

EDUCATION Help us in making theatre and Shakespeare available to every student. Support this worthy endeavor with a donation to the Santa Cruz Shakespeare Education Campaign.

UNDISCOVERED SHAKESPEARE
Undiscovered Shakespeare is a public arts and humanities series co-produced by Santa Cruz Shakespeare, UCSC Shakespeare Workshop, and The Humanities Institute. It brings professional actors and scholars together with the public for a staged reading and discussion of works by Shakespeare that are rarely produced.

LEGACY GIVING

Members of the Tilly Shaw Legacy Society help ensure the future of Santa Cruz Shakespeare and a culturally vibrant  community by remembering SCS in their wills, retirement plans, trusts, or other estate plans.

To get started, complete the Memorandum of Charitable Intent and send it to or mail it to Santa Cruz Shakespeare, 501 Upper Park Road, Santa Cruz, CA 95065, attn: Development, or email it to development@santacruzshakespeare.org

You can learn how these different vehicles of giving can benefit you, your loved ones, and SCS by contacting development@santacruzshakespeare.org for more information regarding charitable estate gifts.

WEEKEND WITH SHAKESPEARE
Weeekend with Shakespeare is an annual two-day educational event partnership between Santa Cruz Shakespeare and UC Santa Cruz’s Humanities Institute offering lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities that give attendees deeper insights into the SCS mainstage Shakespeare productions.

As we prepare to welcome our visiting artists this summer, we are seeking assistance with housing—one of our most significant annual needs. If you have a rental property or are able to offer accommodations as a donation, we would be grateful to hear from you at companymanager@santacruzshakespeare.org.

Additionally, we are interested in potential car donations to support artist transportation during the season. Your generosity makes this work possible—thank you for your consideration.

Contact the box office at (831) 460-6399 Tuesday through Friday, 12PM-4PM with any questions or concerns.
